  • Home - Recent Activity is now a simple list of rows, with only genuine problems highlighted so a failure stands out instead of being lost among routine statuses.

  • Activity - New date filter with a calendar picker, including Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days and This month shortcuts. It works alongside the search and the platform and event type filters.
  • Activity - Event times now show as an age, such as 30s, 2h or 1d, instead of a full date on two lines, and keep counting up while you leave the page open. Hover any of them to see the exact date and time. The space this frees goes to the message column, which used to get cut short.
  • Activity - The filter row is reorganised, with the search box on the left and the date and filter menus on the right. Send Test Event and the kebab menu now sit alongside the Combined Chat and Activity Feed buttons, and the kebab menu is split into categories.

  • Goals - Goals now live on the Variables page as a type of variable, alongside your text, number, yes/no and countdown variables. Your existing goals, the alerts that update them and the overlay widgets that show them all continue to work unchanged.
  • Variables - Creating and editing now happens in a dedicated window, with one form covering both variables and goals.
  • Variables - You can now change a variable's name, type, default value and whether it is kept between sessions, without deleting and recreating it. Alerts stay connected throughout, and changing a type shows you exactly what the current value will become before you save.
  • Variables - Renaming a variable now lists the alerts that refer to it by name, including disabled ones, and offers to update them for you.
  • Variables - Deleting a variable or goal now warns you first if any alert uses it, including alerts that are switched off.

Turn it on when support asks and TipLink records much more detail, including the pages you open and the actions you take, so a problem can be followed step by step. Leave it off the rest of the time. It replaces the old "Verbose Points & User Logging" option and now covers the whole application; if you had that switched on it stays on.
  • Logs - Errors are now written to their own file alongside the main log, so a problem can be found without reading through an entire session. Both files for a session share the same date and time in their filenames.
  • Logs - Every log now opens with your TipLink version, Windows version, hardware and folder locations, which is the information support would otherwise have to ask for.
  • Logs - Routine per-event chatter no longer fills the log. Day-to-day logs now record connections, account changes, startup and shutdown, and anything that went wrong, with the fine detail available on demand through Verbose Logging.
  • Logs - TipLink now keeps the last 10 sessions rather than the last 10 files, so a session's main log and error log are always kept together.
  • Logs - Account details are no longer written to the log when connecting or creating an account; only the account identifier is recorded. More kinds of secret are removed as well, including values stored against names like token, auth, session, passphrase or a private key.
  • Backup - Variables and goals are now included in a full backup. They were previously left out, so restoring after a reinstall lost them. Backups made with earlier versions still restore normally.
  • Storage - Graceful handling for edge cases where storage drives for TipLink cannot be written to, or are full.
  • Events - The event queue could run a processing pass while TipLink was still starting up, before your accounts had connected. An event left over from your previous session could then try to fire its actions into connections that were not open yet, and fail. The queue now only runs once startup has finished.
  • Performance - Persistent data writes are batched and cached events are handled more efficiently, improving processing latency.
  • Performance - Rate limit cooldown saves no longer hold the application open while TipLink is closing.

  • Placeholders (Points) - New transform `platform:"..."` to limit a leaderboard to one platform, e.g. `{{ points.top.5 | platform:"fansly" }}` so a Fansly board is not topped by Twitch balances. "twitch" covers both Twitch connection types.
  • Activity - The Platform and Event Type filter menus now show how many events each option matches, counted against your current search and other filter.
